About these terms

These Terms of Use apply when you use the CombineWell platform and website, operated by SIA Sneeds. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean SIA Sneeds.

They are CombineWell's own terms, not an organization's membership terms. The rules, fees and conditions of a membership are set by the organization that offers it, and are between you and that organization.

What CombineWell is

CombineWell is an online platform that organizations use to run their membership: a public organization page, applications, member records and memberships, and My CombineWell, where people see their own memberships and applications.

We provide the platform. We do not decide who becomes a member of an organization, and we are not a party to the membership between you and the organization.

No organization is charged for CombineWell today, and online membership payments are still in testing: they take no real money. If that changes, it will be under terms that say so.

Your account

  • Give accurate information, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
  • One account can hold several roles, for example a member of one organization and an administrator of another. Each role gives only the access it describes, and signing in does not make anyone an administrator.
  • If you think someone else has used your account, write to us at hello@combinewell.com.

Organizations and administrators

  • Whoever creates an organization on CombineWell becomes its owner. Administrators act for their organization and must be authorized by it to do so.
  • The organization is responsible for having the authority to collect and use its applicants' and members' information, and for what it asks for, publishes and decides: its public page, membership types, prices, rules and decisions on applications.
  • An organization's public page must be accurate and lawful, and must not mislead anyone about who runs it.
  • An organization's owner can delete the organization in its settings. An organization that holds payment records cannot be deleted yet.

Applications and memberships

  • An application is a request to join. The organization decides whether to accept it, and a membership begins only once the organization's conditions, such as approval or payment, are met.
  • When you apply, you confirm that the information is correct. When you apply for someone else, you confirm that you are allowed to provide their information.
  • Applying for someone, being their contact or paying for them gives no access to their membership in CombineWell.

Acceptable use

Do not use CombineWell to:

  • break the law, or publish content that is unlawful, misleading or infringes someone else's rights;
  • apply in someone else's name, or provide their information, without the right to do so;
  • try to reach information you are not authorized to see, including another organization's, or get around the platform's security or limits;
  • send unwanted or abusive submissions, or harass anyone;
  • disrupt or overload the platform, or access it by automated means beyond normal use.

Availability and changes

CombineWell is being developed: features may change, be added or be removed. We work to keep the platform available, but we cannot promise that it will always be available or free of errors.

Content and the CombineWell name

Organizations keep their rights to the content they add, such as their name, logo, images and descriptions, and allow CombineWell to store and show it to provide the platform, for example on their public page and membership cards.

The CombineWell name, logo and software are provided by SIA Sneeds. These terms give no right to use them other than to use the platform.

Suspension and ending

We may suspend an account or an organization, or take a public page offline, where needed to prevent abuse, protect people or the platform, or comply with the law.

You can stop using CombineWell at any time. Account deletion is not currently available in the app. You can contact us to request deletion; we will handle the request according to the records and legal obligations that apply.

Privacy

How personal information is handled is described in the Privacy Notice.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, we publish the new version here with its effective date. Each application records the version that applied when it was sent.
